How to Add SMS Credits to Your MegaSMS Account
Buying or loading SMS credits on your MegaSMS account is a very easy and direct process. Follow these straightforward steps to top up your account and keep your communication flowing smoothly.
Step 1: Log In to Your MegaSMS Account
Access your MegaSMS account by logging in with your credentials (username and password).
Step 2: Click on "Buy Credit"
Once logged in, navigate to the "Buy Credit" tab or option available in your account's sidebar or menu.
Step 3: Enter Amount
Input the amount of money you wish to load in Ugandan Shillings (UGX). Do not include commas in the amount. As you type, our SMS credits calculator will display the number of credits you will receive for the entered amount.
Step 4: Provide Your Phone Number
Enter the phone number from which the payment will be deducted.
Step 5: Finalize Payment
Click on the "Buy Credit" button to proceed with the payment.
Step 6: Approve the Payment
Check your phone for the prompt to enter your mobile money PIN for approval. If the prompt takes too long to appear, you can manually approve the request by dialing *165# on your phone.
Step 7: Wait for Confirmation
During the payment process, ensure you remain on the payments page until the transaction status is confirmed to avoid any interruptions. The payments page will reload automatically every 10 seconds until the payment is confirmed. Do not leave this page until you receive an alert indicating a confirmed or failed transaction.
Step 8: Confirmation and Success
Once the payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation email. Click on the "Dashboard" tab or option to verify that your SMS credits have been added to your account.
