How to Send Text Messages on MegaSMS
Sending text messages through MegaSMS is a straightforward process designed to ensure efficiency and ease of use. Follow these steps to get your message across to your entire audience quickly and effectively.
Step 1: Log In to Your MegaSMS Account
Begin by logging into your MegaSMS account using your credentials (username and password).
Step 2: Click on "Send Message"
Navigate to the dashboard and click on the "Send Message" tab or option for the page to load.
Step 3: Enter the Sender ID
Input your sender ID, ensuring it is less than 11 characters long.
Step 4: Add Recipients' Phone Numbers
Choose one of the following methods to add phone numbers:
— Manually: Type the phone numbers one by one.
— File Upload: Upload a .CSV or .XLS file containing the phone numbers.
— Contact Groups: Select any of the contact groups saved in your account.
Step 5: Type Your Message
Compose your message. Remember, for each recipient, each SMS credit covers up to 160 characters. As you type, our character counter will automatically display the number of typed characters, remaining characters, and the total number of SMS credits required for your message per recipient.
Step 6: Select Recipient Networks
Check the networks that should receive the messages. It’s recommended to leave all networks checked to ensure delivery to recipients regardless of their network provider.
Step 7: Choose Sending Options
By default, the "Send Now" option is selected. This sends your message immediately. If you prefer to schedule the message for a later time, select "Later" and choose your desired time.
Step 8: Send Your Message
Click the "Send Message" button to dispatch your message.
