How to Set Recurring Messages to Be Sent Always
Setting up recurring messages through MegaSMS is extremely easy and seamless. Follow these steps to ensure your messages are sent consistently and at the right times.
Step 1: Log In to Your MegaSMS Account
Begin by logging into your MegaSMS account using your credentials (username and password).
Step 2: Click on "Send Message"
Navigate to the dashboard and click on the "Send Message" tab or option for the page to load.
Step 3: Enter the Sender ID
Input your sender ID, ensuring it is less than 11 characters long.
Step 4: Add Recipients' Phone Numbers
Choose one of the following methods to add phone numbers:
— Manually: Type the phone numbers one by one.
— File Upload: Upload a .CSV or .XLS file containing the phone numbers.
— Contact Groups: Select any of the contact groups saved in your account.
Step 5: Type Your Message
Compose your message. Remember, for each recipient, each SMS credit covers up to 160 characters. As you type, our character counter will automatically display the number of typed characters, remaining characters, and the total number of SMS credits required for your message per recipient.
Step 6: Select Recipient Networks
Check the networks that should receive the messages. It’s recommended to leave all networks checked to ensure delivery to recipients regardless of their network provider.
Step 7: Choose Sending Options
From the next options of either "Send Now" or "Later", select "Later". A sub-list will appear with options for "Once" or "Weekly/Monthly". Choose "Weekly/Monthly" and then select:
— Number of Weeks: Specify the duration for which you want the message to be active.
— Specific Dates: Select the dates on which the message should be sent.
— Corresponding Time: Set the time for the message to be sent.
Step 8: Schedule Your Message
Click the "Send Message" button to set your recurring message schedule.
